Our Impact
First and foremost, FAR is engaged in active accompaniment of students throughout Haiti. Yes, we provide financial support, but our coordinators and team members also work to maintain relationships with each of our students and their families. With the University of Redlands, we provide professional development opportunities for undereducated teachers at the schools our students attend. Joining with Partners in Agriculture, a school Goat and Garden project that educates families in sustainable gardening and livestock care has been developed and moves participants toward greater financial independence. In all of this, our students are encouraged, their families strengthened, and their communities enriched.
